According to a news report in the Branson Daily News, the woman was eastbound when she lost control of her vehicle on the ice-covered road and was struck by a 1998 Freightliner dump truck driven by a 31-year-old Reeds Spring man. The woman was transported to a local hospital for treatment of her injuries, Missouri Highway Patrol officials said.
